Pesticides, as important inputs in agricultural production, have built the first line of defense to protect the green and high-quality development of agriculture. The "14th Five Year Plan for the Development of the National Pesticide Industry" clearly sets out the industrial development goals: by 2025, the pesticide industry system will become more perfect, the industrial structure will become more reasonable, the support for agricultural production will continue to strengthen, and the level of green and high-quality development will continue to improve.

In order to further promote the standardization and rationalization of pesticides in production and use, lead more excellent pesticide enterprises and high-quality pesticide products to assist in the green and high-quality development of agriculture, the China Pesticide Industry Association issued the T/CCPIA 170-2021 "Evaluation Specification for Green and High Quality Pesticide Products" group standard in 2021, which for the first time clarified the concept of "green and high-quality pesticide products" and organized the selection of green and high-quality pesticide products (GHi-Q) according to the standard requirements. Currently, many companies' products have been included in the "Green and High Quality Pesticide Product List".
